Steven Olson, PhD (General Manager/Owner), a Canadian with an education in natural resource conservation and community development, spent most of his childhood and high school years in Cameroon and Nigeria. He has worked and traveled extensively in West Africa and more recently after discovering the fascinating country of Ethiopia, decided to focus his background in conservation and sustainable development and his interests in nature and culture on sustainable ecotourism there. Steven is general manager of EthioGuzo and leads some of EthioGuzo's tours.

Eyerusalem Terefe Diro (Assistant Manager), an Ethiopian who grew up in Addis Ababa and has an education in secretarial services/science. She greets you with a smile and takes care of your reservations and bookings. Eyerusalem handles a huge part of the work done behind the scenes that keep our tours running.

Bertrand Duquénois (French Tour Guide and Marketing Manager), A Frenchman whose compassion for Ethiopia and its people lead him to find a job with EthioGuzo so that he might devote his time and effort in advocating the culture, history and nature of this spectacular country. Minalu Adem (Tour Leader) was born and educated until highschool in Jinka, South Omo, a central town for visiting the ethnic groups. He graduated from Bahir Dar University in Business Management and from Unity University in Economics. After taking tourism training, he started working as a Tour Leader and has been leading tours for the past 6 years. He has a great love for his country and a deep concern and interest for its culture and nature. Moreover, he is proud to show his beautiful country to visitors.
